Celebrating Boccia League Brisbane Medal Presentation

11 June, 2026

Charter Care Services was proud to support the recent Boccia League Brisbane Medal Presentation, an inspiring evening celebrating players, medal recipients, organisers and supporters who contributed to a fantastic Boccia season.

The night was a wonderful opportunity to recognise the dedication, skill and sportsmanship shown by players across the league. Congratulations to all participants and medal recipients on their achievements.

What is Boccia?

Boccia is an inclusive bowling-style game that requires concentration, strategy and accuracy rather than strength. It can be enjoyed socially or played competitively right through to Paralympic level.

Similar to the Italian game of bocce, Boccia is designed for players of all abilities, including people with physical disability. The objective is to throw, kick or use a ramp device to propel leather balls as close as possible to a white ball, known as the jack or target.

Athletes can compete in both team and individual events, creating opportunities for players to participate at a level that suits their ability and goals.

Creating Pathways Through Inclusive Sport

One of the powerful aspects of Boccia is the opportunity it provides for players to develop their skills and progress through the sport.

Players can classify and compete in representative Boccia at regional, state, national and international levels. This creates meaningful pathways for athletes who want to take their involvement further, while also supporting social connection, confidence and community participation.

Proudly Supporting Boccia League Brisbane

At Charter Care Services, we believe inclusive sport plays an important role in building stronger, more connected communities.

We are proud to support Boccia League Brisbane and celebrate the incredible players, families, volunteers and organisations who continue to make the sport accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for all.

Congratulations again to everyone involved in the Medal Presentation and to all players on a fantastic season.
